Today in Human Geography, we saw every one slides that they
had made with their groups about globalization. It was nice to see what other
information the other groups had compared to mine. Some of the things that I learned
was that globalization is spreading in many countries traditions, economy, and business.
One group said that it was an easier way of life which in some ways it is, but
others it is not. Another pro people said was that it gives jobs to people
around the world. One group said that it was a pro to have cheap labor in other
countries, but others said it was a con. Another con people had said was that
the people who are working in these sweat shops had no healthcare or medicine
treatment. The workers were also abused and mistreated by their managers. Then
at the end of class we discussed what was going to be on our test on Friday.
